This first Slow Food Sunday Lunch is created by Michael Mayhew and inspired by the Food Library Kitchen Garden, the back bone for our meals.
We’re dedicating this Sunday lunch to the veg patch. Growing anything is slow and this lunch is a celebration of the core of the Slow Food Movement. The cultivation and the cooking of real food, employing traditional methods & techniques.
No beef, lamb, Yorkshire pudding or gravy, just seasonal vegetables & fruits, transformed into deeply varied and flavoursome dishes, celebrating food, Sundays, eating, drinking and getting around a table with people.
