From a Library dedicated to food, Laura and Michael grow, harvest and prepare a unique collection of seasonal liqueurs and preserves.

The Food Library is in Laura and Michael’s home in Northampton, with a brand new ‘Workshop for Sustainability’ directly opposite launching into 2023. The workshop houses their Kitchen Garden, ‘How To’ workshops, local food & drink makers and events.

You can visit for events, to collect produce bought from the online shop or join as a library member and borrow from a collection of over 400 books on inspirational growing, cooking and preserving. Events including monthly Dining Club are on the events page.

Their liqueurs and preserves are all handmade at The Food Library, using produce grown in the Kitchen Garden and foraged produce, combined with locally sourced ingredients. These bespoke and seasonal drinks, chutneys and sweet treats are then incorporated into Michael’s menus for bespoke monthly Dining Club events.

Laura and Michael are committed to growing their own delicious, chemical-free, environmentally friendly food, being an active, friendly library and project in their neighborhood and participating in a local, sustainable food chain.

The Food Library online shop is now open
