Description

The Food Library Summer Solstice Residential

Go wild and free with Laura & Michael from the Food Library and workshop friends to celebrate the sunlight this June 20th-22nd. Our Summer Solstice Residential is a weekend of living outdoors, foraging, fermenting, cooking and communal eating & drinking. It promises to make the most of the longest day of the year, spending it together in creative industry and thoughtful pursuit on the land that nourishes and sustains us.

Please notify us of any allergies at the time of booking in the notes section of your purchase or by emailing michael@food-library.co.uk.

You can read more about the event in this Chronicle & Echo article, or in this Muddy Stilettos feature.

See also our simple Summer Solstice Terms and Conditions here and Suggested Kit List – Summer Solstice Residential. Further to the information below you will receive a detailed email 14/15th June with everything else you need to know prior to the event.

Intro:

The Food Library runs a programme of seasonal food-related workshops inspired by our extensive book collection on growing, preserving, foraging, worldwide recipes and more. This residential celebrates our fourth year of Foraging & Fermenting with Rob โ€˜The Cotswold Foragerโ€™ Gould and transports our usual weekender out into the wild. We will spend more time connecting with the outdoors, bringing us together with Rob and our ‘How to Rewild your Life’ leader Force of Nature Chef Alex McAllister Lunt (plus other special guests) to hail the summer solstice through learning, crafting, eating and drinking together on the ancient land with Amy and the team at Hideaway Wood Farm. In the lead up to the residential there will be further exciting announcements, however, read on and get your ticket now as numbers are extremely limited.
