Description

If you love The Food Library Dining Club…join us for Sunday Lunch!

At: The Workshop for Sustainability, Cecil Road, NN26PQ

Slow Food Sunday’s were introduced in 2025. Watch this space for information about planned events in 2026.

We love Sundays, and the “Sunday lunch” is an institution unto its own in Northampton. Just saying the words out loud, we think we know what’s on the plate and that it’s one of the unique traditions of this country, perhaps varying slightly from region to region. But what really is a “Sunday lunch” and what happens when we travel further afield?

We’re offering up four unique and leisurely Sunday lunches, to ask about the origins of the Sunday lunch, head back to different periods of time, consider what multiple cultures do on a Sunday; cooking food employing different methods & techniques…We’ll incorporate slow food principles, celebrating the customs and methods that truly take their time in creating a delightful, nourishing meal to be savoured and shared together.
